Driving a helicopter takes balls of steel. There’s not much between you and that spinning blade, and when things go to shit, it’s much harder to navigate a landing than doing the same in a plane.

That said, those who know how to handle a helicopter can be pretty talented at preparing for the worst. We’ve seen multiple instances of helicopter pilots making incredible recoveries in the past, and now, we have another to add to the list.

As part of a simulation, this helicopter pilot deactivated his engine then sprung into action, safely navigating the vessel to the ground while keeping cool as a cucumber.
